Allison Jo Baker

“The Allison Jo Baker Memorial Nursing Scholarship” is an endowed scholarship established in 2023 by the family of Allison Jo Baker to honor her memory and her legacy. Allison, known as Alli, lost her life tragically in an automobile crash in December of 2022 at the age of 23 while crossing the road by her home. Alli was a 2017 graduate of Traverse City West High School and always knew that she wanted to be a nurse. In 2022, she began her journey to achieve that dream. Family and friends will always remember Alli for her beautiful smile, contagious laugh, and love of animals and life. Alli’s heart was bigger than most and her desire to give helped her make the decision to become an organ donor early in her young life. At the time of her death, Alli’s donations have touched and changed the lives of 85 people. The love and adoration that she brought to her family and friends is missed every day and the world is a little darker without her in it. She is missed by all and will be loved forever.
