Ernest and Donna Rae Gaunt Scholarship

The Ernest and Donna Rae Gaunt Scholarship was established in 2001 to help deserving students further their education. Mr. and Mrs. Gaunt moved to Traverse City in 1952 when NMC was beginning its second year and spent the next 25 years at the college. Mr. Gaunt taught business subjects and later became the business manager where he oversaw the building of the first 10 campus buildings. The Gaunts had three daughters who attended NMC, and they appreciated the excellent education they received at NMC.
