Rogers Family Scholarship for Environmental Studies

Rogers Family Scholarship for Environmental Studies

The Rogers Family Scholarship was established by Ann Rogers in 2000 to serve the needs of NMC students pursuing Environmental Studies or demonstrating a passion for the environment through volunteer activities. Ms. Rogers is a strong supporter of NMC, a former member of the city commission and is very involved in the community of Traverse City. Her late husband, Joseph Rogers was a faculty member who established the Rogers Observatory at NMC. Her daughter is artist Sally Rogers whose sculpture Nexus is displayed in the courtyard behind the Health Science Building on the NMC campus. This scholarship continues the legacy of support for work done by the entire Rogers Family.
