Adras & Altig Scholarship

The attorneys at Adras & Altig are pleased to sponsor for the third consecutive year a Criminal Justice Essay Contest to help students with college expenses and to raise greater awareness of the issue of underage drinking and its contribution to car accidents.

Enter to Win:

To enter the Criminal Justice Essay Contest, students should submit an original, 500-word essay on the following topic:

What do you think could be done to decrease the rates of underage drinking, which would decrease the number of accidents as well?

Eligibility:

• The essay contest is open to juniors and seniors in high school, as well as students enrolled in two-year and four-year colleges and universities and graduate school programs in Nevada and throughout the United States.
• Applicants who are 17 years old or younger will need to provide parental consent to enter.
• Applicants should submit an essay as a Word document or PDF, a digital photo of themselves and a school transcript.

Awards:
1st Place – $1500
2nd Place – $750
3rd Place – $500
