Betty Maynard Memorial Scholarship

In honor of our charter president Betty Maynard, Chapter EM offers a $1,000 scholarship to a Leelanau County woman.

A candidate must be:

• A Leelanau County resident
• Enrolled in or planning to enroll in an academic program in an accredited educational institution in the United States or Canada
• The scholarship will be paid directly to an educational institution

To complete the application a candidate will need:

• A complete academic transcript
• Two letters of recommendation
• An essay that includes a description of yourself, your life experiences and community activities, any recognition you have received, volunteer and work experiences, and your goals for both school and career
