Leelanau County Prospectors' Club

The Leelanau County Prospectors Club is pleased to announce its eighth annual Northwestern Michigan College/University Center Scholarships. The 2023 scholarship program consists of two, $2,000.00 stipends – one of which will be in memory of Sally A. Guzowski – that will be awarded to eligible college students from Leelanau County, to assist in his/her continuing education.

Applicants must be residents of Leelanau County. The two recipients will be chosen on the basis of scholastic achievement, financial need, and potentially personal interviews.

To apply for the scholarship, simply provide the following information:

• A one-page background cover letter
• College transcripts
• A completed FAFSA (financial aid) application

Completed applications are to be submitted by April 15, 2023, to the Leelanau County Prospectors Club, c/o Chet Janik, by e-mail, to janikchet@aol.com. The recipient will be determined by May 15, 2023.
